The mortal remains of the late Director of the Defence Intelligence, Col Seth Odei who died after a short illness whiles in Cairo has been received by the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), on Monday, 7 June, 2021.
Receiving the remains on behalf of the Presidency and GAF, the Acting Chief of Defence Intelligence Brigadier General Yeboah Nsiah in a brief speech stated that Col Odei, portrayed a sense of likeness, was God fearing and a man of peace. He added that, a joint funeral team would be arranged to deliberate on the burial and final funeral rites.
The body has been deposited at the 37 Military Hospital mortuary for preservation.
Present were the Defence Attaché to Cairo Air Commodore Asante, some Officers of GAF, and family Members.
