French Special Forces Visits GAF

A delegation from the French Special Forces (FSF) led by the Commanding Officer, Cooperation and Regional Units of French  Elements in Senegal, Lt Col Thomas Debesse  has visited the 64 Infantry Regiment on Thursday  27 June 2019.

According to the Commander, Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) of the Ghana Armed Forces, Col Selorm Amengor, the visit formed part of the French Special Force support to GAF on its readiness to combat and fight insurgencies across the sub region.

The delegation was briefed by the Commander Rear of the Unit, Major Franklyn Agyeman on the Unit and GAF’s preparedness in war and peace time.  The team later toured the Unit’s armoury.
