GOC N/Comd Donates to Muslims in 6 Garrison

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Northern Command, Brigadier General Moses Mohammed Aryee has commended Muslims in the Garrison for their steadfastness and commitment on the fasting and prayers in the holy month of Ramadan and urged them to be discipline and professional at all time.

The GOC donated 14 bags of Rice, 6 Boxes of Cooking Oil, and 2 cartons of tin fish on behalf of the Chief of the Defence Staff at a short ceremony held at the headquarters on Wednesday, 12 May 2021 at Nyohini Camp, Tamale.

Presenting the items to the Muslims, Brig Gen MM Aryee commended troops for their discipline and loyalty and thanked them for fasting and praying for the Command, Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana at large.

Receiving the items on behalf of all Muslim troops of 6 Garrison, the Garrison Imam Sheikh Abdul Rahim Yamusah thanked the GOC for the donation and prayed Allah continue to bless the good works of the Command and the Ghana Armed Forces.

Also present at the event were the Command Operation Officer, Colonel Barimah Brako Owusu, Command Logistics Officer, Colonel Michael Kwadwo Opoku, and some Muslims drawn from the 6 Infantry Battalion and the Airborne Force.
