United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), Ghana Engineer Company 8 Medical Cell has donated an “Autoclave” to the 37 Military Hospital on Wednesday, 24 March 2021 at the Office of the Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital.
The Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of the medical cell and leader of the delegation, Capt Nana Yaw Dwomoh disclosed that, the purpose of the donation is to support troops in sterilizing consumables and equipment during their pre-deployment training at Bundase Training Camp before embarking on any United Nations Peacekeeping Operation. He added that, although the Military has such equipment, adding up would help enhance medical services provided to personnel and the general public.
Col Azumah Bugri, Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital received the items on behalf of the Commander, Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai and thanked them for their benevolence. He also stated that, the donation by the medical cell was a good initiative and would be put to good use for the benefit of all troops.
Present during the presentation were some senior officers of the formation.
