The Chief Staff Officer (CSO) at the Army Headquarters, Brigadier General Charles Agyemang-Prempeh, has encouraged troops of the Service Headquarters to live worthy lives and be more useful to the service.
He said this during his maiden durbar with troops under his Command at the Army Headquarters in Burma Camp on Thursday, 25 February 2021.
The CSO admonished the soldiers to invest their hard-earned monies in safe and credible investments after careful and proper due diligence. He charged them to desist from Ponzi schemes that inadvertently bring untold hardship on them and their families.
Brig Gen Agyemang-Prempeh emphasised that the Army High Command will continue to deliver programmes and services to ameliorate the challenges of soldiers so as to enable them live better lives in and out of service. To this end, the CSO admonished troops to adapt a positive attitude towards their career by attending and excelling at courses to develop themselves in order to qualify for their needed promotions.
Brig Gen Agyemang-Prempeh urged the soldiers to take good care of all military equipment in their care while charging drivers to adhere strictly to the routine maintenance schedule given them to make their vehicles safe.
On the health and fitness of soldiers, the CSO intimated that the Army need all troops alive, thus they should adopt healthy lifestyles, especially during this COVID era.
