Son of Freddie Blay Donates to 37 Military Hospital

The son of the Acting Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwaw Blay has donated medical items to the 37 Military Hospital on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Fore Court of the hospital’s headquarters in Accra.

The items included 55 pieces of Breathing System Filter, four sets of Cemed Cardiological Angio, one box of Cemed Pad Compression, 17 pieces of Coverline Orthopedic Split Drape and other medical items.

The move, according to Mr Blay was made to support and show appreciation to the hospital for taking good care of him when he was admitted at the hospital last year.

Presenting the items to the facility, Mr Blay disclosed that the items were donated on behalf of his mother Mrs Gina Blay, Ghana’s Ambassador to Germany to show appreciation for the warmth treatment that was given him when he was admitted at the hospital after having an accident whiles riding a horse.

The Commanding Officer (CO), Col Azumah Bugri who received the items on behalf of the Commander of the 37 military hospital Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai and the entire medical corp, expressed his appreciation for the presentation.

Col Bugri appealed to individuals and corporate bodies to also support the hospital in their own small way.

Mr Blay was accompanied by Mr Eugene Ofori-Attah, a businessman and Personal Assistant to Mrs Gina Blay, Mr Orlando Hosni.
The Chief Nursing Officers of the hospital and some Senior Officers were present during the presentation.
