Ace Medical Insurance Company has donated some medical items to the 37 Military Hospital on Tuesday, 8 September 2020 at the forecourt of the hospital’s Administration Block.
The items which included; Hand sanitizers, Nose masks, tissue papers and other personal protection equipment (PPEs) was to help the hospital staff continue the fight against COVID19.
The Managing Director of the company, Mr Solomon Awuku presenting the items said the donation forms part of their Company’s corporate social responsibility to the public. He added that the items were to help especially the frontline staff of the hospital fight against the pandemic.
Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai, Commander 37 Military Hospital receiving the items on behalf of the hospital expressed his appreciation to the Company and also acknowledged the effort of the hospital’s staff especially the frontline workers.
He added that the items would be put to good use. He disclosed that though the confirmed cases of COVID-19 patients were on the decline as compared to the initial stages of the pandemic, the COVID situation was not over. He admonished citizens to observe the safety protocols outlined by the Ghana Health Service.
