The Regular Career Course (RCC) Intake 35 has donated food items and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worth 35,000 to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital on Friday, August 28, 2020.

The items included; bags of rice, bread, tin fish, cooking oil, face mask, face shield, tissue towels, liquid soaps among others.

Presenting the items to the hospital, Colonel Eric Konadu, Director Land Operations General Headquarters and the leader of the delegation noted that the donation was to commemorate the Intake’s 25th anniversary. He noted that it was in the interest of the intake to share with the less privilege in society to show appreciation of what the Lord has done for them.

Receiving the items, Mr Julius B-Kuusaalesuo, the Deputy Director Administration of the Psychiatric Hospital expressed his profound gratitude to RCC Intake 35 for their kind gesture and noted that the items would satisfy the needs of the inmates as well as the staff.

He made mention of how some inmates had been abandoned and which is a worrying situation, but the timely intervention of the items would help cater for the inmates. Mr B-Kuusaalesuo on behalf of the hospital assured the intake of using the items to the benefit of the patients and staff, and he asked for God’s blessing upon the intake.

Present to deliver the donation were some members of the intake both serving and retired.
