The newly appointed Commander, Army Training Command (ATRAC), Brig Gen Winfried Dzandu-Hedidor on Wednesday 5th August 2020 paid a working visit to the Jungle Warfare School of the Ghana Armed Force at Akyem Achiase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The visit was aimed at introducing himself to all training schools under command as the newly appointed ATRAC Command.
He advised troops to take training very serious and also avoid tarnishing the image of GAF.
He added that the use of social media by soldiers in posting videos of training sections was causing greater damage to GAF and called for an immediate stop to that.
He also emphasized on the safety protocols related to COVID-19 since every soldier needed to be healthy to be able to defend mother Ghana when the need arise.
Brig Gen Dzandu-Hedidor also toured the school from the Officers accommodation through to the recruit lines.
Commanding Officer of JWS, Lt Col Peter Amoah was glad to receive the new ATRAC Commander for being the first General to visit since he took over as the new CO of JWS.
