The Chief Executive Officer CEO), of KOANTWI Company Limited, Mr Kofi Antwi has donated two Hyundai i10 cars to the Ghana Army Headquarters at Burma Camp in Accra on Tuesday, 7 July 2020.
The CEO said the donation formed part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and also aimed at supporting the Ghana Army with their transport requirement. He added that the vehicles would help the Army execute its internal security operations which continued to keep Ghanaians safe. He recalled his company’s effort to renovate damaged roofs at the Second Battalion of Infantry (2Bn) in Takoradi, earlier this year.
Mr Antwi handed the keys to the two cars to the Chief Staff Officer (CSO) at the Army Headquarters, Brigadier General Michael Amoah Ayisi.
The CSO expressed appreciation, on behalf of the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Thomas Oppong-Pepprah, for the donation. He commended the Company for acknowledging the role of the Army in the country and for supporting them.
