Send off Ceremony in Honour of Outgoing PMC

A short sendoff ceremony has been held in honour of the President of the Mess Committee (PMC), Col Fred Ntiri at the Command Officer’s Mess in Burma Camp on Friday 3 July, 2020 as he proceeds to further his education in the United Stated of America (USA).

In his opening remarks, the incoming PMC, Col Richard Mensah thanked his predecessor for his tremendous work at the mess and stated that, though he has been appointed to fill a huge vacuum he was determined to give his best as the new Committee President.
The CDS in his remarks noted that the ceremony was to show great appreciation to Col Ntiri for his articulate and selfless effort as PMC and tasked the incoming PMC to exhibit such dedication to his new appointment.

“Col Ntiri has done very well; he has been efficient, and has been able to work under pressure. And in all cases of events he has organized, I have not detected any fault,” the CDS acknowledged. He then tasked the incoming PMC to beef up the security of the mess to avoid any challenge pertaining to the mess.

The outgoing PMC in his remarks thanked the CDS and the Service Chiefs for the ceremony held in his honour and noted he would continue to be committed to serving the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).

During the ceremony, an undisclosed gift was presented by the CDS to him.

Present were the Service Chiefs and some Directors General (DGs) to bid the outgoing PMC a fare well.
