Promasidor Ghana Limited, producers of Cowbell assorted products on Monday, 3 June 2019 presented one hundred and thirty-six (136) boxes of cowbell powdered milk to the children’s ward of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
The nutritional powdered milk was presented to the facility to mark the World Milk Day and most especially, as part of the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations since its inception in Ghana.
Presenting the products to the hospital, on behalf of the company’s Managing Director, Mr Festus Tettey, the Brand Manager of the company, Mr Joseph Ashong thanked the Management and Staff of the facility for the opportunity given to them to donate to the hospital.
Speaking on the theme ‘’20 Years of Nourishing Bodies, Minds and Dreams,’’ Mr Ashong noted that the company had grown over the years and looked forward to expand their business to meet the needs of their clients in the country and beyond. He added that the Cowbell milk contained nutritional benefits that help in the growth of children, especially, those who were malnourished.
He emphasised that the company started its operation with about seventy staffs, but, currently employs about eight hundred people with a wide range of seven brands. However, Promasidor has four categories of products, namely, dairy, food seasoning, cereals and spreads.
The Brand Manager however, hinted that as part of the anniversary celebrations, they would donate 200,000 sachets of Cowbell to selected Pediatric hospitals across the country and also organise a Cowbell quiz competition in September which would focus on Mathematics.
Receiving the milk on behalf of the Commander of the hospital, Brig Gen Micheal Akwasi Yeboah Agyapong, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Col Josephine Osei-Vowotor expressed her gratitude to the company and asked for God’s blessings for the company.
The company presented some branded Cowbell Exercise books to the Pupils of the 37 Military Hospital Basic School and the Flag Staff House Basic School respectively.
