A 6 member delegation from the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority (GPHA), led by the Director General GPHA, Mr Micheal Luguje has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General William Azure Ayamdo in his office on Tuesday, 4 February, 2020.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss among others the recent developments of the GPHA.
Director General GPHA, Mr Micheal Luguje expressed his appreciation to COAS for the Ghana Army’s assistance and collaboration in the provision of general security to attain the common goal in the fight against maritime threats.
COAS in his response was grateful for the visit and stated that, the Ghana Army was ready at all times to provide security and prevent violence. He recommended the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) training institutions as places to assist attain information on security for its members.
A plaque was presented as a token to the Director General GPHA by COAS, while he also presented some souvenirs from GPHA to COAS.
