The 1 Signal Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) together with the former Commandant of the Military Academy and Training School (MATS) Maj Gen Amadu Kaadu Abdulai (Rtd) have presented two bundles of Blankets and Pajamas to the 37 military hospital on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the forecourt of the hospital’s headquarters in Accra.
The presentation which was spearheaded by Maj Gen Abdulai (Rtd) and supported by the 1 Signal Regiment was in appreciation of the good care and treatment Maj Gen Abdulai received when he was on admission at the hospital.
He was accompanied by the Commanding Officer (CO), 1 Signal Regiment GAF Lt Col Abass Mustapha, Director General, Directorate of Communication and Information Systems Brig Gen Matthew Essien, Director of Communications 1 Signal Regiment, Col Anthony Ntem and other Officers.
Presenting the items to the hospital, the former Commandants of the MATS thanked Command and Staff of the facility for how well he was taken care of throughout his admission at the hospital until his was discharge.
He encouraged Command and Staff to maintain the high level of professionalism exhibited and asked that they do better in the coming years.
The Commanding Officer (CO) of the hospital, Col Azumah Bugri, thanked them for the donation and advised others to emulate same.
Present during the donation were some Senior Officers of the formation.
