Arakan Officers’ Wives Association Donates to Arakan Medical Centre

The Arakan Officers’ Wives Association have donated toiletries to the Arakan Medical Centre on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the premises of the medical centre at Burma Camp in Accra.

The items donated included some boxes of Parazone, washing soaps, toilet rolls, examination gloves, toilet brushes, mops and its buckets, hand sanitizers, sweeping brush, sachet water among others.

Presenting the items on behalf of the group, the President of the Association, Mrs Pearl Birikorang stated that the donation was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and also to give back to society.

Mrs Birikorang said it was also the association’s way of supporting the centre and showing appreciation to the workers of the centre for giving them quality health care whenever they visited the clinic for medical care.

The Officer in Charge of the Arakan Medical Centre, Lt Col Patience Owusu-Aidoo thanked them on behalf of Command and the entire staff of the centre. She however encouraged them to continue to do more of such presentations in the coming years.

Present during the presentation were members of the association and staff of the clinic.
