The Commandant Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Maj Gen Irvine Nii Ayitey Aryeetey on Wednesday 18 January 2023 paid a working visit to the Ghana Armed Forces Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Headquarters at Whistler Barracks, Teshie.
The aim of the visit was to acquaint and familiarize himself with the activities of TRADOC and also have a first-hand information on the progress being made with the formation of the doctrine and training concept of TRADOC in order to strengthen esprit de corps between GAFCSC and TRADOC.
During the visit aimed at acquainting him with TRADOC’s operations, Maj Gen Aryeetey said it was always important for units of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to collaborate and deliberate on issues affecting them and further come out with solutions to address such issues for the greater output of growth of GAF. He said the collaboration among units of GAF would also help to explore areas of support among units.
On his part, the Deputy Commandant TRADOC, Brig Gen Lawrence Gbetanu expressed his gratitude to Maj Gen Aryeetey for the visit and also congratulated him on his appointment and assumption of office as Commandant GAFCSC. Brig Gen Gbetanu also briefed him on the one-year road map on the formation of TRADOC.
