A Wreath-Laying Ceremony has been held in honour of the late former United Union Secretary-General His Excellency (HE) Kofi Annan on Tuesday 22 Nov 2022 at the Military Cemetery in Accra.

The Chief of Defence Intelligence, Maj Gen Abraham Yeboah Nsiah laid a wreath on behalf of the government and the people of Ghana. The President of the European Union Council, HE  Charles Michel laid a wreath on behalf of the European Union with the final wreath being laid on behalf of the United Nations by HE Giovanie Biha.
