As part of his contribution towards the celebration of Ramadan, the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama presented hundred (100) boxes of assorted food items to Al-Aziz Central Mosque at Burma Camp on Friday, 29 April 2022.

The CDS in his brief address said the month of Ramadan was a time for spiritual reflection and growth to help those in need and to an extent spend some quality time with loved ones. He however urged them to abide by the values and guidelines of the religion and live peacefully with one another.

Vice Admiral Seth Amoama added that Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) is blessed to have both Muslims and Christians living and fellowshipping together. He admonished them to eschew all tendencies that could lead to hatred and misunderstanding in order to focus on the good will of Allah.

He also commended the Imam and the congregation for making time in joining other Muslims around the world to observe the Holy month.

Receiving the items, the Acting Chief Imam of GAF, Major Najmu-Deen Mohammed thanked the CDS for the kind gesture.
