Army Headquarters Holds Range Classification Exercise

The Army Headquarters (HQ) has held its annual Range Classification Exercise for its personnel on Tuesday 6 August, 2019 at the Teshie Gallery Range.

The objective of the exercise was to check the preparedness of the soldiers and how accurate personnel fire rifles from 100metre, 200metre and 300metres range to enable them defend the nation in terms of crises.

Personnel of the Army HQ were classified on M16 Rifle, General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMC) and pistols namely; Taurus, TT and Arcus very accurately from various ranges and firing positions.

Present at the occasion were; the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General WA Ayamdo, Chief Staff Officer of Army (CSO), Brig General MA Amoah, Senior Officers, Officers and troops from the Army HQ.
