Wartsila Voyage Limited, a global leader in innovative technologies, is set to partner the Ghana Navy in a new project for the delivery of professional Navigational simulators.

The global company for the marine, energy markets and lifecycle solutions made this declaration when a delegation, led by the Senior Product Sales Manager, Mr Petr Olyanyuk paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu on Wednesday 3 April, 2024 at the Naval Headquarters.

The CNS warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for the company’s interest in collaborating with the Ghana Navy to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. He emphasized the importance of fostering strong partnerships with industry leaders to leverage their expertise and solutions in support of the Ghana Navy’s mission to safeguard national security and uphold maritime interest.

Rear Admiral Yakubu assured the delegation of the Ghana Navy’s commitment to exploring more partnership opportunities to advance maritime capabilities and operations. “We look forward to working with you to achieve the target goal”, he added.

The Senior Product Sales Manager on his part, thanked the CNS for hosting them, and promised to offer a professional maritime training solutions that would make the Ghana Navy training schools, a centre of excellence in the region.

The CNS presented a plaque to the delegation to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions.
