A farewell parade was held for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ghana Battalion 12 (GHANBATT 12) on Sunday 8 September 2024 at the Bale Baz Square in 5 Infantry Battalion, Burma Camp. The Reviewing Officer for the parade, Brigadier General Lloyd Atror, Deputy Commandant of the Ghana Military Academy, congratulated the personnel of GHANBATT on their selection to serve with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan. He advised the personnel to maintain professionalism, resilience, and dedication in their duties to ensure a successful tour of duty. Additionally, he urged all GHANBATT troops to remain disciplined, vigilant, and good ambassadors of the Ghana Armed Forces.
