A Religious Parade has been held for troops of UNIFIL GH 91 under Pre-Deployment Training at the Battle Training Camp, Bundase to express their gratitude to the Almighty for His goodness during their training.

The event took place on Sunday 4 August, 2024 at the Oppong Pepprah Multi-Purpose Hall Bundase. Delivering the sermons on the theme ‘Focus and Give Thanks’ Imam Lt (GN) Abdul M Yusif and the Chaplain Capt Nathan Lambert emphasized the importance of remaining focused and giving thanks to the Almighty God.

They cautioned the troops against any act of ingratitude, noting that it could hinder their progress in life. Their messages resonated deeply with the troops, who had undergone seven weeks of intensive training in preparation for their mission.

In his remarks as the Guest of Honour, Commander Army Training Command (CATRAC), Brig Gen Stephen Woseadzikpo Kwaku Parbey, encouraged the troops to remain focused and professional in the discharge of their duties in Southern Lebanon.

Brig Gen Parbey reminded the troops of their dual role in Lebanon which includes representing Ghana and demonstrating God's love and compassion through their humanitarian activities. Emphasizing that, by embodying these values, the troops would become beacons of hope for a nation yearning for peace and stability.

He commended the staff of the Army Peace Operation Training School (APOTS) and the personnel of UNIFIL GH 91 for their warm reception and dedication to the training process.
