The Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), in collaboration with the South Tongu Municipal Assembly, has organised a stakeholder engagement at Sogakope in the South Tongu Municipality.

The event brought together paramount chiefs, opinion leaders, business representatives, and other identifiable groups within the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive for South Tongu, Honourable Innocent Tetteh, welcomed the stakeholders and encouraged them to support the Command in enhancing its operations.

The Flag Officer Commanding NAVTRAC, Commodore Asiedu-Larbi, urged the communities to view NAVTRAC as their own and partner with the Command for mutual benefit.

During the engagement, stakeholders appealed for a quota in the Ghana Navy’s enlistment and recruitment processes for members of the communities where NAVTRAC operates.
