LONGEST SERVING DCS AT DPR RETIRES HONOURABLY

Mr Theophilos Tetteh bids farewell to the Department of Public Relations after thirty-one years of distinguished service with Ghana Armed Forces.

After thirty-one years of outstanding service with the Department of Public Relations, Mr Theophilos Tetteh has retired honourably from the Ghana Armed Forces.  

He joined the then Directorate of Public Relations on 4 November 1992, as a graphic artist and became the most celebrated peerless Afnews cartoonist. He rose through the ranks and became the Assistant Chief Technical Officer.

To recognize his distinguish service with the Department of Public Relations a sendoff party was organised in his honour at the Ghana Armed Forces Public Relations Institute (GAFPRI) on Thursday 27 June, 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director General Department of Public Relations (DPR), Brigadier General Eric Aggrey Quashie said Mr Tetteh has over the years endeared himself to all ranks by virtue of hard work, describing him as a huge reservoir of tolerance, humility and diplomacy.

A citation in recognition of his thirty-one years of outstanding service with the Ghana Armed Forces and the Department of Public Relations was presented to him.

He expressed his deepest gratitude to the DGPR and the entire Department for honouring him.
