A 5-member delegation led by the Libyan Army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Mohammed Al Hadad has called on the Chief of the Defense Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, on Monday, 4 December 2023. The visit, according to Lt Gen Al Hadad forms part of their itinerary to tour some key installations while attending the 2-day United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference 2023 in Ghana. He expressed eagerness to have a collaborative training for personnel of Libyan Army and Ghana Armed Forces. Vice Admiral Amoama said the Libyan Armed Forces in the past invited troops from GAF to participate in military parades and training, an arrangement he confirmed benefited both officers and soldiers. He lauded the Libyan Army for its collaboration in sharing information to protect and maintain the peace of both countries.
