GHFAC CLOSES NORTH DAKOTA NCOs TRAINING PROGRAMME

The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) in partnership with North Dakota National Guard, held a closing ceremony for the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Training Course at the school auditorium on Friday 9 August, 2024.

The course aimed to facilitate the development of NCOs, enhanced female NCO engagement, Troop Leading Procedures, critical thinking exercises and best counselling practices.

The Guest of Honour, Director General Training at the General Headquarters, Brigadier General Winfred Dzandu-Hedidor, in his remarks, encouraged the participants to exhibit excellent leadership and also utilise the knowledge and skills acquired to mentor others. He therefore lauded the instructors and organisers for their commitment.

North Dakota National Guard Instructor, Lt Col Simmick congratulated the students for the successful completion of the course, indicating how sustainable the programme has become since its inception four years ago. He expressed gratitude to GHFAC for their consistency, support and collaboration.

In all a total of 29 students including five females participated.
