The Chief of the Defence Staff, (CDS) Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has encouraged cooperation between the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and First Atlantic Bank for mutual benefits after a delegation from the Bank paid a courtesy call on CDS in Burma Camp on Wednesday10 July, 2024. He posited there was the need for the bank to embark on extensive Corporate Social Responsibility activities in the Ghana Armed Forces to strengthen the existing relationship between both organizations. He also suggested, a policy be developed between the company and GAF to secure buildings for troops who were due for pension through mortgages or other avenues. The Executive Director of First Atlantic Bank Mr Daniel Marfo, on his part congratulated the CDS on his elevation to the highest rank and appointment in GAF. He assured that the company would engage GAF for the mutual benefit of both institutions.
