The visit, which forms part of his familiarisation of schools in the Western Region, provided the platform for Col Zuneidu to express appreciation for the Western Naval Command’s continued support to schools within 2 Garrison. He also discussed ongoing and prospective educational initiatives with particular focus on plans to establish a GAF second-cycle institution within the Garrison and proposals to integrate the Young Sailors Academy into the main GAF education system. Commodore Ayelazono welcomed the idea and encouraged him to remain committed to providing quality education. He underscored the vital role of education in shaping future leaders and national development. He was accompanied by the 2 Garrison Education Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Saviour Hadjah, and other staff officers.
