He commissioned the 2-bedroom accommodation block, designed to provide comfortable living quarters for personnel, on behalf of the Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah. Major General Osei-Owusu stated that the project is part of ongoing efforts aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of personnel. He emphasised the importance of maintenance and urged occupants to keep the facilities in excellent condition to benefit future generations. 
The Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu, has commissioned an 8-unit 2-bedroom accommodation block at Dohazari Lines in Burma Camp on Friday 11 October 2024.
