Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has equipped the Department of Public Relations (DPR) with modern equipment on Wednesday 10 April, 2024. The items include digital audio processing, a 27-inch iMac desktop with Retina 5k display, iPhone 14, Galaxy Tab A8, EOS 5D Mark IV, and Sony 4K (XDCM) devices, digital video camera, Batmax professional battery, canon Utrasonic image stabilizer, transcend external hard drive among others and promised to gradually resource the department. The effort took place during his familiarization visit to learn at firsthand the progress and challenges of the Department. He underscored the importance of Public Relations and urged the unit to continue its good work. The Director General, Department of Public Relations Brigadier General Eric Aggrey-Quashie, received the items on behalf of the Department and expressed his gratitude to the CDS. He added that the equipment would aid in the establishment of DPR mobile team.
