The Chief of the Defense Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, an alumnus of Prempeh College, has congratulated the school's Robotics Club for winning two trophies at the World Robofest Competition held in Detroit, Michigan, United States of America.

He congratulated team for placing Ghana and Africa on the world map of robotics when the Headmaster of the School, Very Reverend Lewis Asare, led them to present the trophies to him at the General Headquarters.

He encouraged the students to explore other areas where technology could be applied to solve problems in Ghana and Africa as a whole. He stated, it was time students started competing in science and robotics to solve problems in their immediate environment and impacting lives through technology in our communities.

The team placed first in the World Unknown Mission Challenge and second in World Game challenge with a perfect score of 100 percent respectively.
