The visit, which came on the back of Lt Gen William Agyapong’s recent tour of the stalled Afari Military Hospital, saw him seek guidance and blessings of Otumfuo on his elevation to the highest appointment in the Ghana Armed Forces. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in his remarks, wished the CDS well in all his endeavours and bestowed God's blessings upon him. He advised Lt Gen Agyapong to uphold integrity and patience. Otumfuo also encouraged the CDS to play his role in maintaining peace and stability in the country, adding that the welfare of troops must be key.
