Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for West and Central Africa has on Tuesday 27 February, 2024 entered into professional partnership with the Ghana Armed Forces. The partnership materialized when the Global Chief Executive of ACCA, Madam Helen Brand paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah at the General Headquarters. According to her, the partnership would be geared towards the exploration of collaborative engagements towards the development of the human capital of the military. She emphasized that her outfit was committed to assisting the Armed Forces with relevant professional capabilities. The Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations and Training at the General Headquarters, Major General Joseph Aphour received the delegation on behalf of the CDS. He commended the association for the partnership and gave the assurance of the Military High Command to collaborate with them. He emphasized Command was willing to explore new avenues to develop and enhance the professional capabilities of personnel.
