Lele Group of Companies has on Sunday 14 December 2025 donated two brand-new Zhonda pickup vehicles to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) at the Tema Naval Base as part of its corporate social responsibility and to enhance the Command’s operational effectiveness.
The Chief Executive Officer, Lele Group of Company, Mr Jaber expressed gratitude to the ENC for the support and protection it provides to the industrial areas of Tema, ensuring that citizens and businesses can operate safely and freely. He explained that the donation is part of giving back to a country in which the company has operated for 25 years and intends to continue serving for many more.
The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), ENC, Commodore Asiedu-Larbi warmly received the donation, describing the pickups as a strong vote of confidence in the personnel of the Command. He noted that the vehicles would immediately enhance logistics capabilities, reduce wear and tear on the existing fleet, and improve the movement of supplies and personnel, thereby strengthening response times and support to the communities the Command serves.
The Flag Officer Commanding highlighted the donation as part of a sustained and productive partnership between the ENC and Lele Group.
He praised the company’s commitment to national security and encouraged other corporate entities in the Tema metropolis to emulate this gesture, stressing that closer collaboration between the private sector and the armed forces is vital for reinforcing regional security and resilience.
