The Director General Personnel, Administration (PA), Brig Gen CKAA Awity, has urged students of the Forces Senior High Technical School (FSHTS) to maintain the newly constructed mechanized borehole to prolong its life span.
He mentioned this at the commissioning ceremony of the mechanized borehole constructed at the Forces Senior High Technical School (FSHTS) at Burma Camp, Accra on Friday, 14 December 2018.
According to Brig Gen Awity, the borehole is a multipurpose facility which will help students save money from buying sachet water and expressed gratitude to the donors of the facility.
The leader of the Human Development Association International (HUDAI), Mr Salman Ozpinar stated that the water facility would be beneficial to the students and reduce the plight faced by the school administration as a whole.
The Counselor for the school, Mr David Osei Senu expressed his profound gratitude and also acknowledged the good work done by the non-governmental organisation (NGO).
HUDAI is a Turkish based NGO whose mandate is to assist government and institutions in the provision of facilities such as the recent commissioned borehole and also the financiers of the Ghana National Mosque Complex.
