6 November 2018. The 5-day Royal visit of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Her Royal Highness, Camilla and Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward has come to an end.
They departed the country for Nigeria at the early hours on Tuesday, 6 November 2018 for another Royal visit.
A guard of honour was mounted by the Ghana Armed Forces in their honour at the Kotoka International Airport to signify their official departure from the country.
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, HE Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, the British High Commissioner, Iain Walker and other diplomats accompanied them to the Airport to bid them farewell.
The purpose of their visit was to strengthen the friendship and co-operation and to highlight key themes between Ghana and the United Kingdom and also held bilateral talk with the President.
