India High Commission and Lysaro 3l Company Limited Gives to 37 Military Hospital

 2 October 2018. The India High Commission in Ghana on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 presented  assorted drugs and handed over a mounted 1000 Litres Polytank to the Mahatma Gandhi Ward of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

The presentation was part of the 150th Birthday celebration of the founder of India Mahatma Ghandhi and International Day of Non Violence. The assorted medications included syrups, blood tonics, tablets and infusions.

In his presentation, the India High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Birender Singh Yadav stated that the assorted drugs and the polytank were donated to the Ghandhi Ward to strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the hospital and the India High Commission in Ghana as well as the Association of India Community in Ghana.

HE Birender Singh Yadav thanked the Commander of the hospital, Brig Gen Michael  Akwasi Yeboah  Agyapong and officers of the hospital and promised his country’s continual support to the hospital.

On the same day, LYSARO 3L Company Limited located in Osu, dealers in the sale of  furniture, stationery, toiletries, printing and general goods also donated thirty (30) pieces of Hospital Beds, ten (10) bundles of toilet rolls and some buckets of Madar washing powder  worth seventy thousand Ghana Cedis (70,000) to the hospital.

Donating the items, the Chief Executive Officer of the company Mrs Cynthia Adjei noted that the “No Bed syndrome” at the various Government Hospitals across the country was a big challenge hence the decision to donate and help the government solve the menace.

The Commander of the facility Brig Gen Michael Akwasi Yeboah Agyapong thanked them on behalf of the Military High Command and assured that the donated drugs, beds and other items would be put to good use.

Present were the acting Commanding officer of the facility Col Ayibor, Matron Col Annie Djokoton, some senior officers and personnel of the hospital.
