30 April 2018. Two United Kingdom (UK) Army Cadet Force Officials, Lt Col Terry Hayter and Capt Lawrence Bolt have paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Staff (COS), Rear Admiral Beick-Baffour on Monday 30 April 2018 at Burma Camp, Accra.
The two who arrived into the country on Thursday, 26 April 2018 for a four day official visit were to promote stronger bilateral relations between the National Cadet Corps of Ghana (NCCG) and the UK Army Cadet.
They paid a visit to the Jungle Warfare School (JWS) for a RECCE towards a cadet expedition which is scheduled to take place in April or October 2019, after which they toured Cape Coast in the Central Region and Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
COS welcomed the team to Ghana and pledged the support of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to the National Cadet Corps.
The two Cadet Officials were accompanied by the National Cadet Coordinator General, Nicholas Tettey-Amarteifio, the Chief Staff Officer – National Cadet Headquarters, Derek Clottey and Staff Officer, International Programs and Relations – National Cadet Headquarters, Nii- Tettey Onukpa.
