The Support Services Brigade Group has held Handing over and pulling out ceremony at the Parade Square of the Support Services Brigade on Thursday 16 July 2020.
The Chief of Staff (COS), Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu supervised the handing over from Brigadier General Stanley Brain Alloh to Brigadier General Matthew Essien the new Brigade Commander.
In his farewell remarks, the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Alloh was grateful to God, the Military High Command and the entire Brigade for the various opportunities given him to serve both in Ghana and Abroad in training, logistics and administration.
General Alloh stated that, he enjoyed a good relationship with the entire Units and asked personnel of the Brigade to render same to his successor, Brigadier General Mathew Essien. He also asked that they give him the maximum support and corporation he may require. He stated that, despite his retirement from the military, the military will still be a part of him and he will be available to assist in any way when contacted.
The out-gone Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Stanley Brain Alloh has worked for 37years and by dint of hard work, enthusiasm and commitment, rose through the ranks to become a General and has served in various capacities such as Assistant Director Personnel Administration, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Northern Command and Commander Support Services Brigade.
Present at the ceremony was the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Major General Thomas Oppong Peprah, Chief of Staff (COS), Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu and other Senior Officers.
