Enhance Your Professional Development- Rear Admiral Beick-Baffuor

The Commandant, Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Rear Admiral Moses Kwadjo Beick-Baffuor has charged Personnel of the 37 military hospital to enhance their professional development.

He said not only will it improve their academic qualifications but most importantly, build upon their skills, knowledge and attitudes.

Rear Admiral Beick-Baffuor who was the Guest of Honour made these remarks during the celebration of the hospital’s 2019 West African Soldiers Social Activity (WASSA) held on Friday December 20, 2019 at the Quarter Master Yard of the hospital.

He implored Personnel to let their academic accomplishments reflect in their output at the various wards and departments and also put in their utmost best in order to deliver quality healthcare to all.

He entreated personnel to use the Christmas season to reflect on their shortcomings during the past years and to ensure to deliver efficient and effective healthcare services to clients who visited the facility in the coming years.

He congratulated all Staffs for their hard work over the previous years and the year 2019. He advised all them to be professional, vigilant, sacrifice, committed, stay away from bad company and stay healthy in order to be able to keep everyone healthy since they were health professionals

On his part, the Commander 37 military hospital, Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai commended Staffs of the facility for their zeal towards work over the years. He stated that WASSA had been a tradition and was aimed at offering personnel to come together as a family to fraternize with one another and celebrate the successes chalked during the year.

Brig Gen Obodai added that WASSA was also celebrated to refresh soldiers and their families, Civilian workers, to recount the activities of the hospital within the year and also appreciate some individuals and groups who contributed towards the achievement of the hospital.

He extoled the WASSA committee and everyone who played a role in ensuring the success of the programme as well as stakeholders, individuals, corporate bodies who in various ways assisted the facility  in providing reliable and efficient healthcare for all.

Present during the celebration were the Commanding Officer of the hospital Col Azumah Bugri, Chief Nursing Officers of the hospital, Former commander of the hospital Brig Gen Micheal Akwasi Yeboah Agyapong (Rtd) and other Retired Officers.
